Husky House

Summer

Husky House is a guided tour and experience for the whole family. You will learn a lot about the history of the husky sled dogs, how we train them and what their work day looks like. Of course you will also get a chance to say hello to some of the dogs and snuggle with the puppies.

Play Area and Outdoor Cooking

We have a husky themed playground onsite where the children get to play life as a husky dog. It’s a perfect finish to a guided tour.

In our outdoor café and shop we offer coffee, drinks and snacks (Swedish fika) but also traditional coal baked flatbread and hot dogs that you get to cook over an open fire. All ingredients as well as descriptions how to cook them are for sale in our café. Several outdoor seating areas and fires are available and make for a great time cooking together. Most of our ingredients are from local producers in our area. There are options free from gluten and lactose, and our onsite staff can help answer any questions you might have.

In the shop we offer gifts and souvenirs that are husky and dog themed – dog candy, jewellery, toys and much more.

Stay longer in Granö

Granö is a vibrant village in the inland of Västerbotten, halfway between Umeå and Lycksele, and there are plenty of reasons to stay for the whole day – or why not overnight. Just a stone’s throw from our kennel, you’ll find Granö Beckasin, Sjungaregården cultural center, @granobrod, and @sarasglutenfria. In the summer, you can find all the entrepreneurs and tourism companies during En härlig dag i Granö (A Wonderful Day in Granö).
